Description
Topeka Public Schools is soliciting proposals for two new Ford E250 cargo vans, or equivalent models, for their Carpentry Department. The vans must be 2024 or newer and include features such as V-6 engine, AWD, automatic transmission, gas fuel, disc brakes, anti-lock brakes, air conditioning, rearview camera, power windows and locks, and all-season tires. The solicitation also specifies requirements for a 250 Amp alternator on gas engines, platform running boards, USB audio interface, cruise control, 12V power outlets, a spare tire and wheel, backup alarm, and rubber flooring instead of carpet. The contract award will be based on the lowest responsive bidder whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is considered most advantageous to the District, with considerations for quality, capability, availability, and past performance, not solely price.
