Description
Topeka Public Schools is soliciting proposals for a new cargo box truck. The truck specifications require a Ford F-650 or equivalent chassis with a minimum GVWR of 25,500 lbs, a 6-cylinder turbo engine, and a 5-speed automatic transmission. It must also feature a 4,400 lb capacity liftgate. The cargo body should be an 18-foot brown cargo van model, mounted low with a 136-inch maximum height, and equipped with a roll-up rear door and interior liner with E-track. The RFP details specific requirements for the chassis, engine, transmission, axles, brakes, interior, and cargo body, including dimensions, materials, and warranty periods.
