Description
This is a Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought Notice for a specific air compressor model required for Endodry scope storage and drying cabinets at the Leavenworth VA Medical Center. The medical center has already purchased and received the Endodry cabinets, which require a larger, more powerful compressor than currently in use. Two compressors are needed for the Leavenworth campus. The specific model required is the LES08+145T-RD-71DDGR, a 7.5Hp Encl 141PSITrivolt Scroll with an integrated refrigerant dryer and 3x10L integrated tank. The compressor must have a capacity of 16.1 cfm @ 126.9 psig, a maximum working pressure of 141 psig, a 7.5Hp motor (TEFC IE3 NEMA Premium Efficiency, Three Phase 200-230-460/3/60), a full acoustic enclosure (59dB(A)), and an integral refrigerant dryer with a 35 to 39 Deg. F. Dewpoint. The control system must be re-wireable in the field for 200, 230, or 460 volt operation. Service start-up by an authorized service technician is also required. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 (NCO15), is seeking sources capable of providing this specific compressor and associated services. This is explicitly stated as a sole source request because Engineering has confirmed this specific compressor model is needed and has the necessary footprint. Delivery is required within 30 days ARO to the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center, 4101 S. 4th Street, Leavenworth, KS 66048.
