Description
This solicitation is for the provision of all labor, equipment, supplies, materials, transportation, and licenses required to perform herbicide application services within specified areas of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Bluestone Dam Property along River Road. The primary objective is to control woody vegetation, invasive plant species, and overhanging brush growth in roadside ditch lines and adjacent treatment zones. This control is essential for improving drainage, enhancing visibility, facilitating roadway maintenance access, increasing mowing efficiency, and supporting overall property management. The area of service, River Road, spans approximately 5 miles and extends through both West Virginia and Virginia, largely paralleling the New River. Given the proximity to the New River and associated drainage features, paramount importance will be placed on environmental considerations and the protection of water resources throughout all treatment activities.
