Description
This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for the Johnson County Sheriff Operations & New Century Adult Detention Center (NCADC) Glazing Replacement Project. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of storefront window systems and associated components at both the Sheriff Operations Building and the NCADC. This encompasses all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and supervision to complete the project. Bids must be submitted electronically via IonWave by 2:00 PM CT on July 9, 2026. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM CT on June 25, 2026, at the Sheriff Operations Building, located at 27745 W. 159th Street, New Century, Kansas 66031. Attendance by General/Prime Contractors is required for bid eligibility. Technical questions must be submitted electronically via IonWave by 5:00 PM CT on July 1, 2026. A bid bond of five percent (5.0%) of the total bid amount, issued by a surety company licensed in Kansas and payable to the Public Building Commission of Johnson County, Kansas, is required with each bid. Bids cannot be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after opening.
