Description
The City of Norwich is soliciting proposals for a complete mold-remediation project at Greeneville Fire Station 2. The contractor must inspect visible and suspected mold-affected areas, evaluate moisture intrusion and contributing conditions, document existing conditions, develop a remediation plan, establish containment, use appropriate engineering controls such as HEPA filtration or negative air, protect occupied areas, remove and dispose of damaged materials, clean and treat salvageable surfaces, and provide post-remediation documentation. The facility will remain operational to the greatest extent practical, so the contractor must coordinate with the Norwich Fire Department, minimize disruption, maintain emergency access and egress, and phase work as necessary. Proposals must include the proposed remediation approach, materials and methods, pricing for the base and optional corrective work, schedule, operational-phasing plan, qualifications, at least three comparable commercial or municipal references, anticipated subcontractors, and a completed non-collusion affidavit.
