Description
The City of Bangor is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the procurement of an enterprise-grade storage array solution. The solution must meet specified technical requirements and support the city's virtual infrastructure. The procurement includes two storage arrays with replication capabilities between them, designed to support a virtual environment of 80 total VMs, including SQL and SMB servers, connected to existing server hosts. The solution must include robust hardware specifications such as 80TB usable all-flash capacity, redundant controllers and power supplies, and dedicated out-of-band management ports. Connectivity should include 8 total 10/25G SFP+ ports for iSCSI and dedicated ports for replication. Mandatory software features include full compatibility with XCP-NG and Microsoft Hyper-V, support for live updates, iSCSI multipathing, XCP-NG High Availability support, active-active bidirectional replication, native Veeam integration, and native SMB/Unified File support. Three years of professional support and warranty coverage with a 4-hour response window for priority 1 issues, advanced hardware replacement, and access to technical support are required. The commercial proposal must include itemized pricing for hardware, software licensing, support and maintenance, and implementation services, with options for full purchase of two arrays, full purchase of one array, or a financing option for two arrays.
