Description
The Togus VA Medical Center requires the provision and professional installation of mobile laboratory casework for its renovated Pathology Laboratory. The casework must meet or exceed VA specifications for lab safety and environmental stewardship, and integrate with the laboratory design. The basis of design for this procurement is the Optima 2011 mobile steel casework manufactured by Mott Manufacturing Ltd. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the project, including coordination, project management, ordering, shipping, delivery, and installation, ensuring final acceptance by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). On-site staff supervisors with OSHA 10 certification are required, and all packaging materials must be removed from the site upon completion of installation. Delivery is requested as soon as possible (ASAP). Submissions must include a technical volume with drawings, manufacturer's product specifications, bill of materials, labor/installation hours, project management plan, product literature, project staffing plan, physical finish samples, sustainability certification documents, testing results, mock-up samples (if applicable), warranty information, and a self-certifying statement of ability to meet project deadlines. The pricing volume should include a separate line for labor/installation and a bill of materials with subtotals. Quotes must be submitted electronically in PDF or Microsoft Excel format.
