Description
The University of Maine System (UMS) is soliciting competitive proposals for the supply, delivery, and installation of kitchen equipment for its new Food Innovation Lab, located in Orono, Maine. This lab will feature two commercial kitchens, one demonstration kitchen, and walk-in cooler and freezer spaces that require outfitting. The scope of work includes providing various kitchen appliances such as combiovens, food processors, freezers, mixers, ranges, refrigerators, induction cooktops, microwaves, blast chillers, kettles, and storage cabinets. The RFP also details specific electrical, gas, and utility requirements for each piece of equipment, along with estimated shipping and delivery information. The University is committed to providing opportunities to diverse businesses and will consider proposals from public entities, private for-profit companies, and non-profit companies. All campuses within the University of Maine System must be afforded the use of this solution under the same terms and conditions.
