Description
This solicitation is for the procurement of one brand-name Pyxis ES MedStation and one brand-name Pyxis ES Refrigerator for the Veterans Affairs Maine Health Care System (VAMHCS) at the Togus VAMC. These units are required to ensure compliance with VHA Directive 1195, which mandates that all high alert medications be stored in an automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) to promote safe handling and secure access. The contractor shall provide all equipment, freight, support services, and documentation necessary for delivery and maintenance. This includes the specified Pyxis ES refrigerator and MedStation, freight and delivery services, and configuration documentation. The equipment must integrate seamlessly with existing Pyxis ES systems, include secure access controls and automated logging, and support appropriate refrigeration. Advanced 8-hour response support for 60 months is also required, covering technical troubleshooting, parts replacement, and maintenance. The acquisition is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Vendors must be OEM-authorized small business distributors and provide quotations for the specific Pyxis ES equipment listed. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically compliant offer from an authorized distributor.
