Description
Tarrant County is soliciting qualified service providers for emergency and non-emergency remediation and disposal of spilled materials, including oil, gasoline, chemicals, acids, automobile fluids, batteries, filters, pesticides, paints, solvents, and thinners. Services include pre-remediation material testing when required, removal and disposal of contaminated soil and other materials, post-remediation testing, transportation to appropriately permitted disposal facilities, and restoration of spill sites toward pre-spill conditions. Vendors must maintain required permits and licenses and comply with applicable federal, state, and local hazardous-materials, waste-management, and occupational-safety requirements. Respondents must provide a proposal describing corporate experience, personnel, equipment, permits and licenses, emergency mobilization and response times, remediation methods, testing procedures, containerization and transportation procedures, disposal facilities or vendors, and sample reports. The response must include five customer references, a completed Safety Record Questionnaire, a separate vendor supply and service price list, and any applicable deficiencies or deviations. Pricing must not be included in the main proposal response. The initial contract term is 12 months from award or notice to proceed, with two optional 12-month renewal periods.
