Description
Tarrant County is soliciting bids for an annual purchase of pre-fabricated thermoplastic pavement markings and Type II glass beads used by Engineering Services on unincorporated roadways. The marking products include white lines, turn arrows, railroad markings, lettering, and shark teeth, all with a required 125-mil thickness. Type II glass beads must be supplied in tri-wall totes or 50-pound bags on pallets, with plastic liners for moisture control. Bidders must bid on all items within a section, provide manufacturer and manufacturer-number information, and include delivery, freight, tariff, and fuel charges in unit prices. Quantities are minimum annual estimates ordered as needed and may be increased or decreased. The contract is for 12 months, with two optional 12-month renewal periods. The solicitation also requires three similar-scope references, diversity-certification information, a W-9, and completion of the online bid attributes and pricing response.
