The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a sole-source delivery order under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement with Bell Textron Inc. for APR-39D(V)2 Radar Warning Receiver Retrofit A Kits supporting AH-1Z and UH-1Y aircraft. The base requirement includes 10 AH-1Z Retrofit A Kits, Part Number 449-704-015-101, and 12 UH-1Y Retrofit A Kits, Part Number 450-704-011-101, along with associated program management operations support. The action also includes up to three option provisions for an additional 10 AH-1Z kits, 10 UH-1Y kits, and associated program management support. The notice states that Bell is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and system integrator for the relevant aircraft systems and is the only known source with the required technical data, skills, and platform knowledge. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals; capability information may be submitted solely to help the Government determine whether competition is appropriate.
