The Town of Rockingham and Bellows Falls Village Corporation have adopted amendments to the existing Code of Ethics Investigation and Enforcement Ordinance. The amendments update and clarify ethics complaint procedures, expand definitions, reorganize procedures, add formal investigation procedures, and strengthen governance and accountability. The full text may be examined at the Rockingham Town office. Citizens have the right to petition for a vote to disapprove the amendments within 44 days of adoption. Unless a petition is filed, the ordinance becomes effective 60 days from adoption.
