Description
The City of Pinole is requesting proposals from qualified firms to develop construction-ready designs for grant-funded electric vehicle charging infrastructure at City Hall, the Senior Center, Bayfront Park, Meadow Park, Louis Francis Park, and the Pinole Swimming Pool. The work supports publicly accessible Level II chargers and must leverage existing preliminary guidance from Marin Clean Energy and PG&E, including consideration of PG&E Rule 29 transformer upgrades and separate metering for reduced electric-vehicle charging rates. The resulting contract will be subject to applicable federal grant requirements, including 2 CFR Part 200 and the Build America, Buy America Act under 2 CFR Part 184. Proposals must identify and name any proposed subvendors, and the selected firm must provide complete, accurate, and auditable documentation to support federal and Caltrans reimbursement.
