Description
Harris County is soliciting bids for construction of the Waynecrest Place Section 2 sanitary sewer system in Precinct 2 under UPIN 26289MF3ZZ01. The scope includes approximately 886 linear feet of 12-inch gravity sewer, 1,916 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer, ten precast manholes, residential service connections, abandonment of existing septic tanks and drain fields, traffic control, stormwater pollution prevention, project signage, pavement repair, and restoration of disturbed areas. Work may use open-cut and trenchless construction methods and must be completed within 300 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed. The bid is federally funded and includes CDBG/BABAA, HUD Section 3, Davis-Bacon, MWBE/HUB participation, minimum-wage, safety, and federal compliance requirements. Bidders must demonstrate successful completion of more than 15,000 linear feet of sanitary sewer line at least 8 inches in diameter, submit the required bid forms and certifications, provide a bid bond or qualifying cashier’s check equal to 5% of the total bid, and submit performance and payment bonds after award when applicable. The solicitation requires online submission through Bonfire as one PDF, with pricing entered through the Bonfire bid table; hard-copy submission is also permitted.
