Description
The City of Meriden is requesting qualifications and proposals from a prime design professional to provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services for the new Casimir Pulaski Elementary School and grounds at 1 King Place. The scope covers project administration, programming, site analysis and development, surveying, geotechnical and environmental services, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, landscape, and interior design, renewable-energy evaluation, and preparation of construction documents. The selected firm will also support bidding, construction administration, submittal review, site observations, change orders, payment applications, furniture, furnishings and equipment coordination, commissioning, demolition, environmental monitoring, project closeout, record drawings, and warranty review. The procurement requires separate electronic RFQ and RFP responses, with pricing excluded from the qualifications response. Evaluation includes firm and staff qualifications, construction-management experience, similar projects completed within the past five years, client references, and financial responsibility and stability.
