The Village of Saranac Lake is seeking sealed unit-price bids for materials for the Park Avenue Southern Sewer Main. The scope includes 48-inch extended manhole bases, risers, flat tops, pre-poured bench walls, 8-inch flexible rubber boots for SDR 26/35 pipe, manhole frames, sanitary sewer covers, and interior bituminous coating for manhole components. Estimated quantities include 1 base, 65.5 vertical feet of risers, 11 flat tops, 11 bench walls, 20 rubber boots, 11 frames, 11 covers, and 100 vertical feet of coating. Delivery is included for specified items. Bidders must submit prices by unit and provide detailed specifications, circulars, and necessary data for the proposed supplies. Products must meet the specifications or be approved equals; deviations must be explained in detail. Requirements include NPCA certification for manhole bases, minimum 5,000 PSI concrete for specified components, H-20 loading for flat tops, approved shop drawings for bench walls, and a two-coat CS-55 or approved-equal interior coating. The bid must include the attached Non-Collusive Bidding Certification and Bid Response Sheet. Quantities may be increased or decreased without changing unit prices.
