Description
The Town of Wallingford is soliciting bids for a minimum of 25 custom-fit firefighter turnout gear sets, each consisting of a turnout coat and turnout pants. The specifications identify required outer-shell, thermal-liner, and moisture-barrier materials or accepted equals, along with integrated liners, reinforced cuffs and knees, reflective trim, lettering, pockets, straps, closures, suspenders, and other protective features. The bid form states that the gear must be furnished and delivered to the applicable town agency or agencies, with delivery required as soon as possible. Bidders must complete and sign the bid form and provide pricing and business information. No bid surety or performance bond is required.
