Description
The North Carolina Department of Adult Correction is soliciting bids for an agency-specific term contract to furnish and deliver optic white broadcloth fabric to its Tabor City Sewing Plant on an as-needed basis. The State does not guarantee a minimum or maximum purchase quantity. The fabric will support Correction Enterprises sewing operations. The addendum confirms that imported fabric is permitted, provided that 10% of the fabric is maintained in the United States. It also clarifies that deliveries are required within 30 consecutive calendar days after receipt of a purchase order, despite an earlier two-week reference; typical shipments are approximately 20,000–40,000 yards, with 20 rolls of 250 yards per pallet. The addendum states that the prior price was $0.99 per yard and requires bidders to return a properly executed addendum response before bid opening.
