Description
The City of Clovis is soliciting sealed bids for the Minnewawa Avenue FID Improvements project, CIP 26-18. The work will occur on the west side of Minnewawa Avenue from Chennault Avenue to Alluvial Avenue and includes clearing and grubbing, removal of existing Fresno Irrigation District pipe, concrete sidewalk and ADA curb-return construction, asphalt and related roadway work, extension and reinstallation of a salvaged fire hydrant, installation of approximately 611 linear feet of rubber-gasket reinforced concrete irrigation main, installation and modification of 60-inch Fresno Irrigation District standpipes, installation of air vents and heavy-duty standpipe covers, traffic and dust control, excavation protection, and miscellaneous improvements. The estimated bid value is $280,310, and the contract time is 25 working days. Bidders must hold a valid California Class A contractor license, satisfy California Department of Industrial Relations registration requirements, submit the required bid forms and certifications, and provide a bid guarantee of at least 10 percent. The successful bidder must provide 100 percent performance and payment bonds. Bids must be submitted on paper as sealed bids.
