Description
Salt Lake City School District is soliciting a contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services required for the Rose Park Elementary School Room Signage Replacement Project. The work includes removing existing wall-mounted room signs and fasteners, patching and repairing wall surfaces, repainting patched areas to match existing finishes, and furnishing and installing new interior and exterior room, restroom, exit, fire, occupancy, and other facility signage. The signage must comply with applicable IBC, ADA, ICC A117.1, and Braille requirements. The contractor must provide product information, shop drawings, mounting details, message lists, graphic layouts, and samples for owner review before fabrication, as well as specified replacement inserts, interchangeable characters, and specialty tools. An active S440 or B100 contractor's license, or equivalent, is required for award. The project timeline identifies a February 1, 2027 contractor start date and February 12, 2027 project completion date; liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day apply for late completion.
