Description
The City of Truth or Consequences is seeking a contractor for Water System Performance Improvements 2. The work includes replacing and installing waterlines using open trench, jack-and-bore, and horizontal directional drilling methods; installing approximately 101 water service connections and new water meters; and adding valves, fire hydrants, and connections to the existing water system. The project also includes roadway asphalt removal and replacement, sidewalk, curb and gutter, and drive-pad removal and replacement, followed by full site restoration. The project is subject to Build America, Buy America Act requirements, including domestic-production requirements for iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials, subject to the stated waivers.
