Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting a firm-fixed-price service contract for water treatment, maintenance, and monitoring of all domestic water systems at the Hot Springs VA Medical Center. The contractor will support four SANIKILL monochloramine and corrosion-inhibitor treatment units, maintain monochloramine at 2–4 ppm and corrosion inhibitor at 8–12 ppm, provide all required labor, tools, travel, supplies, consumables, equipment, testing, and qualified personnel, and supply compatible treatment reagents. The scope includes continual web-based remote monitoring, at least monthly on-site inspections and water sampling, chemical-feed adjustments, equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, OEM replacement parts, alarm correction, reagent delivery and replenishment, annual in-person operator training, annual written program reviews, and site-visit reporting. The contractor must be an authorized distributor and servicer of Sanipur US LLC equipment; work must be overseen by personnel holding Certified Water Technologist and ASSE 12080 Legionella Water Safety and Management Specialist certifications. Offers must include capability and management narratives, technical approach, current certification evidence, five-year relevant-experience resumes, a quality-control and quality-assurance plan, general-liability insurance documentation, subcontractor information if applicable, authorized-distributor documentation, and up to three recent similar-service references.
