Description
The City of Rapid City is soliciting bids for two new, current-model-year 3/4-ton 4x4 crew-cab short-box pickup trucks. Each vehicle must generally include a gasoline V8 engine, automatic transmission, four-wheel drive, a minimum 149-inch wheelbase, approximately 6.5-foot short box, minimum 10,350-pound GVWR, all-terrain tires, towing equipment, running boards, skid plates, white exterior paint, power accessories, remote start with three key fobs, a spray-in bed liner, and a lockable hard-folding bed cover. Equal or superior makes and models may be proposed, with deviations fully explained. The bid must include complete equipment literature, warranty information, and required operation, parts, service, repair, and maintenance manuals. Delivery is required within 90-150 days after contract award, to the Rapid City Maintenance Division. Bidders must submit the furnished Bidder's Proposal, completed contract, Certification of Prohibited Entity, Certification Regarding Debarment and Suspension, the full specifications, and any required deviation explanations. The bid package must be sealed and received before the public opening deadline.
