Description
Black Hills State University is soliciting proposals for the complete fabrication, furnishing, delivery, and installation of its Phase 1 campus wayfinding and signage system. The scope includes 11 pedestrian signs, 24 building signs, 10 vehicular signs, and 25 Village Square signs and brackets, plus unit pricing for additional building signs. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation, mounting hardware, posts, brackets, foundations, excavation, concrete, anchoring, electrical connections, site preparation, removal of designated existing signage, surface restoration, debris removal, and final cleanup. The selected contractor must review the design documents, verify site conditions, prepare shop drawings and material/color samples for approval, fabricate durable exterior signage, coordinate with campus Facilities Services, complete professional installation, perform quality control and a final walkthrough, correct deficiencies, and provide warranty, maintenance, and closeout documentation. Proposals must include an RFP form, a one-to-two-page executive summary, a detailed technical response addressing each requirement and proposed approach, a cost proposal, and information on at least three similar prior or current contracts. The proposal must be submitted electronically as a PDF and signed in ink by an authorized officer before emailing.
