Description
Douglas School District 51-1 is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide Construction Manager at Risk services for the new Elementary School #1 project and potentially other facility improvements identified through the District’s Facilities Master Plan. The selected firm will work with the District and its architect to provide preconstruction and construction services, including estimating, scheduling, constructability review, value engineering, bid-package development, cost control, Guaranteed Maximum Price development, bidding, project management, safety, quality control, phasing, and site logistics. The submission must address the firm’s knowledge of the District and the elementary school project, relevant CMAR experience, preconstruction and cost-control approach, project team and management approach, project constraints and schedule, and local knowledge and availability. Firms must identify at least three comparable CMAR projects completed within the last five years, including owner contact information, design firm, project budget, and proposed project team. The Statement of Qualifications must include a letter of interest, firm qualifications and relevant experience, proposed team and resumes, three comparable project references, approach to preconstruction and construction services, demonstrated project knowledge, and current workload and availability, with a maximum length of 25 pages.
