Description
The City of Gallup is soliciting a contractor to provide 24-hour live operator answering, incident intake, and dispatch notification services for utility-related requests, outages, emergencies, and customer inquiries. Standard coverage is required from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Monday through Sunday, including City-observed holidays, with temporary business-hours coverage available upon request. The contractor must accept calls, document caller and incident information, assess urgency using City-approved protocols, immediately dispatch emergency and critical calls to on-call personnel, route routine calls for next-business-day handling, and provide end-of-shift and monthly reporting. The scope also includes a secure online employee integrity-line submission service, confidential handling of submissions, redundant telecommunications systems, disaster recovery and business continuity capability, trained personnel, and the technology and facilities needed to perform the work. Proposals must address company experience, staffing, technology redundancy, dispatch methodology, reporting, references, pricing, implementation, and data-security practices.
