Description
Gallup-McKinley County Schools is soliciting bids for approximately 3,333 complete, individually packaged five-day student meal kits, each containing five breakfasts and five lunches for eligible students during designated school breaks. Estimated quantities are 1,667 kits for Thanksgiving Break and 1,666 kits for Spring Break, but the District does not guarantee a minimum quantity and may adjust quantities based on participation and funding. The contractor must furnish, package, and deliver the specified commercially packaged food items, including cereals, muffins, crackers, juice, applesauce, sandwiches, cheese, vegetable juice, and utensil packages. Kits must be suitable for K-12 students, have at least 90 days of shelf life upon delivery, meet applicable USDA/Federal School Food Service, FDA, food safety, labeling, allergen, storage, and temperature requirements, and include required nutrition, ingredient, product, allergen, and formulation documentation. Pricing must include food, packaging, labeling, preparation and assembly, transportation, delivery, labor, and other fulfillment costs. Delivery locations, dates, and quantities will be provided after award.
