Description
The City of Daytona Beach is soliciting proposals from experienced marina management firms to operate, manage, maintain, market, and enhance Halifax Harbor Marina. The approximately 550-slip public marina includes wet slips, dry storage, fuel services, a ship's store, transient dockage, marine retail and service businesses, and waterfront commercial tenants. The selected operator will provide comprehensive day-to-day management, including slip and occupancy administration, customer and tenant relations, fuel dock and retail operations, maintenance, grounds coordination, security, vendor coordination, marketing, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, emergency and hurricane preparedness, and capital improvement planning. The operator must also develop customer service, preventive maintenance, emergency operations, and five-year capital improvement and asset management programs; prepare monthly management reports and annual operating and capital budgets; support grant opportunities; and participate in the City's marina master-planning efforts. Proposals must address firm experience, key personnel, operating and management approach, a 90-day transition plan, past performance, financial proposal, financial capacity, and innovation and strategic vision.
