The City of South Lake Tahoe is proposing the redevelopment of the Tahoe Keys Marina to revitalize landside facilities and operations. The project involves demolition of three existing marina buildings, ancillary structures, parking lots, and utilities. New construction will include an approximately 52,600-square-foot indoor boat storage facility with indoor water tanks, three units of workforce housing, and space for restaurants, retail, concessions, and boat sales. The existing boat launch and gantry crane will be relocated, and the bulkhead bordering the lagoon will be replaced. A significant element is bringing the site into compliance with water quality best management practices and assisting in controlling aquatic invasive species.
