Description
The contractor shall provide all personnel, uniforms, daily supervision, and non-personal services required to operate lifeguard services at the Fitness Center Mission Training Pool and Outdoor Recreation Community Recreation Pool. Duties include patron surveillance, water rescue and lifesaving measures, first aid, enforcement of facility rules, water survival skills testing for specified youth, pool-water testing and documentation, equipment and facility inspections, incident reporting, and maintenance of order in lifeguard and first-aid areas. Personnel must maintain approved lifeguard, CPR/AED, and first-aid certifications; lifeguards must be at least 18 years old, and a qualified Lifeguard Supervisor must be present during operating hours. The contractor must provide certified staff rosters, certification records, training logs, rotation logs, incident reports, age verification, and lead-lifeguard service verification. The contract is a single-award IDIQ with a five-year period consisting of one base year and four option years, and includes an estimated workload for community recreation, mission training, youth programs, military morale programs, and water-survival testing.
