Description
The State of New Jersey is seeking a contractor to conduct live auctions for vehicles, heavy equipment, miscellaneous industrial parts, and supplies. The scope includes providing a professional auctioneer; cash clerks; ticket clerks and runners; vehicle drivers when applicable; two uniformed and armed security officers; auction equipment and supplies; bidder registration; payment collection and reconciliation; same-day deposit of auction proceeds; transaction recording; complaint support; and audible recording of each auction. Auctions generally involve up to 150 vehicles or pieces of equipment, with pricing required for a base fee covering up to 110 items and an additional per-item charge for items 111 through 150. The contractor must provide a detailed technical response, staffing plan, professional auctioneer resumes, similar-contract experience, financial capability information, the completed State-supplied price sheet, and required procurement forms and certifications. The anticipated base contract term is three years, with up to two one-year extensions. The solicitation is a small-business subcontracting set-aside for New Jersey Small Business Enterprises in Categories I, II, or III. A $200,000 fidelity insurance policy is required, along with other stated commercial general liability, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability coverage requirements.
