Description
The U.S. Marshals Service is conducting a Request for Information for a potential national contract covering transportation, intake, secure storage, inventorying, appraisal, authentication, consultation, conditioning, grading, auction, smelting, destruction, release, and other disposal services for seized and forfeited jewelry, art, antiques, collectibles, and related personal property. The requirement covers the 94 U.S. Marshals Service districts, the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and the Northern Mariana Islands, with international support potentially required. Respondents must describe their staffing, expertise, capacity, comparable projects, corporate and management experience, government-contract experience, and references. Responses must also include the completed JAAC RFI Questionnaire and the provided Pricing Schedule, with only yellow-highlighted cells completed and no modified pricing schedule submitted. The draft scope requires a central CONUS storage facility, nationwide operational coverage, secure asset-management technology, certified independent appraisers, extensive reporting, auction and disposal capabilities, and insurance coverage including commercial general liability, workers’ compensation and employer’s liability, and property/fire coverage when requested.
