Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a firm-fixed-price contractor to provide comprehensive historical archives digitization, electronic records conversion, metadata indexing, microform conversion, bound-book scanning, large-format drawing conversion, and legacy media transfer services for the Headquarters Cyberspace Capabilities Center. The work includes approximately 1.45 million paper images, 8.83 million microfilm and microfiche images, 3,000 large-format drawings, 856,000 bound-book pages, and extensive film, broadcast, VHS, optical, audio, photographic, floppy-disk, and Zip-drive media. The contractor must provide preparation, scanning, OCR, indexing, quality assurance, secure chain-of-custody transport, off-site secure processing, physical reassembly, and delivery on four approved, encrypted external drives. Outputs must meet FADGI three-star, NARA, DoDI 5200.48, and installation security requirements. The solicitation requires a technical proposal of no more than five pages, at least three recent and relevant past-performance references, a completed pricing sheet for five CLINs, and a cover letter. The contract is a single-award, firm-fixed-price requirement with an 18-month period of performance.
