Description
The City of Arlington is soliciting an annual requirements contract for professional janitorial services at 11 Parks, Recreation, and Culture facilities. Services include nightly cleaning seven days per week, except specified holidays, with facilities ready for guests, clients, and employees by 6:00 a.m. The contractor must clean offices, break rooms, restrooms, furniture, floors, carpets, glass, entrances, trash areas, and other designated spaces; furnish required equipment, materials, consumable supplies, and replacement staffing; maintain dispensers; and provide as-needed emergency cleaning. The scope also includes recurring floor care, carpet cleaning, restroom sanitation, trash removal, quality-control inspections, documented deficiency correction, monthly reporting, background checks, employee training, and City identification badges. The solicitation requires a proposal packet, pricing bid table, completed vendor and contract forms, references, W-9, insurance ACORD form, and applicable MWBE documentation. The response deadline has been extended to October 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Central Time.
