Description
The City of Arlington's Public Works Department is soliciting bids for an annual requirements contract covering crack joint sealing on asphalt and concrete streets. The contractor must furnish all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials; clean and prepare cracks; apply approved sealants and backer rod where required; control dust; manage traffic; remove debris daily; and coordinate work locations and inspections with the City. Work will be paid on a unit-price basis per pound of material, with quantities ordered as needed and subject to City verification. Requirements include compliance with specified sealant products and applicable ASTM standards, documentation of material usage and completed street segments, correction of rejected work, and a two-year warranty against material and workmanship defects. The initial term is one year, with up to two additional one-year renewal options by mutual written consent. The City may award to one or multiple vendors.
