Description
The County of Mendocino is seeking one or more qualified, licensed mental health professionals or agencies to provide comprehensive psychological evaluation services for children, youth, parents, and caregivers involved with Family and Children's Services. The scope includes psychological evaluations, bonding and attachment assessments, clinical observations, expert consultation, evidence-based testing, clear written reports, and expert testimony when required. Evaluations are court-ordered, and the County reported approximately 7 to 9 referrals per fiscal year over the last three fiscal years. Contractors must demonstrate child-welfare experience and use trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and LGBTQ+-inclusive practices. Services may be provided in person, at community locations, or through secure telehealth when appropriate, and providers should be able to evaluate clients in English and Spanish. Addendum No. 1 requires acknowledgment in the proposal; all other specifications remain in effect.
