Description
Tobyhanna Township is soliciting sealed bids for construction work to improve wetlands at the Pinecrest Lake Golf Course property. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals for wetland mitigation work, including erosion and sediment controls, excavation and grading, dewatering, stabilization, seeding, planting, landscaping, and restoration of disturbed areas. The plans identify wetland meadow seeding, tree and shrub plantings, tree shelters, temporary and permanent stabilization, and related construction access and protection measures. The contractor must comply with Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements, applicable erosion and sedimentation-control regulations, and the project specifications. Bidders must visit the site, submit a bid through PennBid, and provide the required bid and qualification documents. The project manual states that work must be substantially complete within 35 days and fully complete within 45 days after the notice to proceed; the schedule identifies final completion as November 30, 2026. A bid bond or certified check of at least 10% of the base bid is required, and the successful contractor must provide performance, labor-and-material, and maintenance bonds after award.
