Description
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) is issuing this Request for Information to gather insights and ideas for potential investment opportunities that advance solar energy generation and energy storage capacity within the state. The Authority is interested in all types of projects, including utility-scale, behind-the-meter, front-of-meter distribution-connected assets, standalone battery energy storage systems, standalone solar generation, and co-located solar-plus-storage projects. NJEDA is interested in financing structures that complement existing federal and state incentives, preserve eligibility for applicable tax credits and adders, and address gaps in current programs without duplicating existing mechanisms. Respondents may provide comprehensive submissions containing multiple potential project descriptions and do not need to answer every RFI question.
