Description
The New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Aging Services, is offering up to seven grants of up to $50,000 each to nonprofit or governmental entities to expand the Stress-Busting Program for Family Caregivers statewide. Each proposal must cover one eligible New Jersey county, and an applicant may apply for up to three county grants through separate proposals. The anticipated grant period is December 1, 2026, through September 29, 2027, subject to funding availability. Successful providers must obtain a nationwide program license, train and maintain qualified Facilitators and Master Trainers, deliver nine-week caregiver classes, provide required participant materials, conduct outreach and screening, support in-person and virtual classes, participate in observations and coordination activities, and submit fiscal and programmatic reports. Providers must complete at least four in-person class series and may use specified combinations of in-person and virtual series. Proposals must include a narrative, staffing plan and budget narrative, work plan, SAGE budget schedules, certifications, and applicable organizational, financial, insurance, and compliance attachments. All submitted files must be PDF format, and proposals must be submitted through the SAGE online system.
