Description
This opportunity seeks a contractor to perform comprehensive inspections and maintenance on sanitary and storm sewer pipelines. The scope of work includes performing inspections, cleaning existing stormwater and sanitary structures, and providing hydro-excavation services. These services will be required for both routine, scheduled tasks and emergency response. The contractor must be prepared to respond quickly to emergencies, as response times will be strictly enforced. The solicitation encourages New York State certified Minority and Woman Owned Businesses (MWBE) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB) to respond, with specific goals set for each. The contract has established goals for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) at 6.00%, Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) at 15.00%, and Woman Business Enterprise (WBE) at 15.00%. No identical or substantially similar procurement contracts have been awarded by the buyer within the past five years.
