Description
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate a sole-source, fixed-price purchase order with Bruker Nano, Inc. for a 12-month service contract for their Bruker Icon Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) instrument. This service includes annual preventive maintenance and extended warranty to ensure the instrument's uninterrupted performance. The AFM is critical for projects within NIST's Infrastructure Materials Group, and Bruker Nano, Inc. is the sole provider of service and maintenance for this proprietary system.
