Description
The New Mexico Health Care Authority (HCA) is soliciting applications from eligible Medicaid-enrolled providers to support Obstetrician/Gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) services and infrastructure in Cibola, McKinley, San Juan, Valencia, and Catron counties. The program aims to sustain and expand access to women's health services, including preventive care, prenatal and postpartum care, labor and delivery, gynecologic care, family planning, and cancer screening. A total of $1,000,000 is available for the funding period from September 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. Funds may be used for personnel, equipment, training, and operational costs directly related to providing these services. Applicants must be currently enrolled Medicaid providers actively serving Medicaid recipients and must meet state licensing requirements. The application must include an eligibility checklist, organizational information, a narrative not exceeding 15 pages, a detailed budget, and optional letters of support. Applications must be submitted electronically via the HCA's designated portal by September 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM MST.
