Description
The Government of the Virgin Islands (GVI), through the Department of Property and Procurement, is issuing this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to establish a pool of qualified vendors capable of providing installation, repair, and maintenance services for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units and ductwork across the U.S. Virgin Islands. This RFQ aims to identify multiple companies for on-demand services on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed minimum amount of work. The scope of work includes providing all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision for services such as rooftop units, air handling units, split systems, VRF systems, and associated controls. Contractors will be responsible for comprehensive site assessments, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and documentation, ensuring all parts meet or exceed Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications and that refrigerants are EPA-approved. Invoicing will require detailed breakdowns of labor, materials, and consumables, with GVI reserving the right to reject invoices lacking required documentation or prior authorization.
