Description
The 182d Airlift Wing of the Illinois Air National Guard is seeking information on potential sources for Sim Protection equipment. This includes helmet head protectors (Part # 8972264, or equal), male groin protectors (Part # 8971770, or equal), female groin protectors (Part # 8971771, or equal), and throat protectors (Part #: 8971764, or equal). These items must be rated to protect against simunition ammunition during training exercises. The helmet head protector is specifically designed to fit around a protective mask and protect users from simunition ammunition. The throat protectors also offer protection from simunition during training. The male and female groin protectors are designed to remain in place during physical activity while providing protection from simunition ammunition. The contract award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The type of solicitation will depend on the responses received. This sources sought notice is for planning purposes only, to gauge interest and capabilities from Small Businesses, including Section 8(a), HUB-Zone, SDVOSB, and WOSB concerns.
