Description
Marinette County is seeking bids from qualified service providers with specific experience in correctional facilities to provide comprehensive medical and mental health services for inmates at the Marinette County Jail. The services include on-site healthcare personnel, direct medical and mental health services, and coordination of off-site medical care, hospitalization, and other necessary services. The contract is anticipated to be for a three-year period, with the option for two two-year renewals, potentially extending the contract term to seven years. The jail has a capacity of 165 adult inmates, with an average daily population around 125. The selected provider will be responsible for ensuring services meet Wisconsin Department of Corrections and National Commission on Correctional HealthCare standards, including crisis intervention, assessment, and treatment planning by qualified mental health professionals. The provider must also offer an annual training program for jail staff on healthcare education topics.
