Description
The Rock Island Arsenal requires remedial repair and calibration services for a variety of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) owned by the facility. This includes services for Sheffield and Brown & Sharpe models, as well as a Nikon Horizontal Coordinate Measuring Machine. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary parts, labor, and tools to perform these services, ensuring calibrations meet ANSI Z540-1 standards and are traceable to NIST. Services are to be performed on an as-needed basis, with a requirement for the contractor to schedule service within 48 hours of notification and initiate service within 10 working days. The period of performance will be one year from the date of award, with up to four one-year option periods at the Army's discretion. The contractor must ensure their service technicians are factory-trained and possess at least three years of experience servicing the specified CMM brands.
