The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) is soliciting proposals for a contractor to provide rental uniforms, towels, and mats for their unionized workforce of 152 full-time employees and 9 supervisors. The contract is anticipated to be awarded for an initial term of three years, with the possibility of two additional optional years. KCATA is a bi-state entity that operates public transportation and employs approximately 559 individuals across various roles, including bus operators, vehicle maintenance personnel, and administrative staff.
