Description
This solicitation is for Special Mode Transportation (Ambulatory Non-Emergent) services, specifically hired car and wheelchair transportation, for beneficiaries of the Kansas City VA Medical Center located at 4801 Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64128. The government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Requirements contract with Economic Price Adjustment based on the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) Midwest Region On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) five-year contract. Individual task orders will be issued for funding, not exceeding twelve-month periods. Offerors must be prepared to stage all personnel, equipment, and required documentation within 30 days of contract award. The solicitation includes detailed requirements for vehicles, driver and attendant qualifications, patient safety, infection control, HIPAA compliance, and security clearances. Past performance and technical capabilities will be key evaluation factors, in addition to price.
